Administrative Volunteers
As of 3/4/2024 we have several key administrative volunteer roles that need to be filled. These volunteers need to commit to two seasons and then help train the replacement come time. Please email the Regional Commissioner [email protected] to introduce yourself and to get started. We are in need of:
Division Coordinators help form teams by assigning coaches and players to teams at the beginning of the season. You would help manage coach requests, teammate requests, and schedule requests at the same time making sure that teams are within the AYSO guidelines of balanced teams.
Game Schedulers help schedule all 5/6U - 14U practices plus 5/6U and 8U game) by balancing the Coaches practice requests and comparing that with the available fields then making a field map of where coaches can expect to practice on the field.
Field Coordinators help secure permits for fields and community rooms plus send out notices if the grass fields have been closed by the City of San Jose.
Child and Volunteer Protection Advocate (Board Member Role) help make sure that all coaches, referees, and team managers have completed their background check, fingerprinting, safety training, and respective coach/referee training. This is as simple as updating a google sheet using the data from Sports Connect.
Photos and Medals Coordinator help schedule dates for the season plus send rosters, schedules, addresses or any other information needed to each vendor.
Fundraiser Coordinator helps organize and communicate about fundraiser nights for Region 1631. For example: Quakes, Bay FC, Chuck E. Cheese, Chipotle, etc.
