Can I get training to be a referee?
Yes.  AYSO offers free referee training.
 
What if I've never played or refereed soccer before?
Most new AYSO parents have not played or refereed before, so we provide the training necessary to referee games at each age level.
 
Do I need to referee every weekend?
No.  Referees decide what games and what weekends to referee, but we encourage referees to ensure coverage for all games each week.
 
Are games preassigned or do I signup for games that work for my schedule?
Once registered and trained, we would setup an Arbiter Sports account so referees can search available games and self assign.
