2024 Spring Core Soccer

SPRING 2024 REGISTRATION IS OPEN

This registration is for the Open Recreational program for the Spring 2024 season in AYSO Region 1631. Our Region is built of wonderful Downtown Families (and nearby neighborhoods) of San Jose. Our games and practices are in parks and schools in the city of San Jose, mainly in the downtown area. Backesto Park and/or Watson Park are usually our home fields. Believe us, you want to be part of our Downtown AYSO Region. Each season we have an amazing community of 200+ players and their families who volunteer to make our season successful.

SEASON DATES

This program is intended to begin the first week of March 2024 (subject to change) for all divisions. All divisions are expected to end sometime in late May 2024 (although some competitive division teams may move on to Area and Section play postseason).

UNIFORMS

Starting in 2024, Downtown San Jose AYSO Region 1631 will be doing our part in making smart eco-friendly uniform choices. After the Spring Season of 2024, our uniforms can be reused from season to season until your player is in need of a new one. The uniforms will be shipped directly to your home. Uniforms are not included with registration and will need to be ordered separately through the link provided before the season begins.

REGISTRATION COST

AYSO is a non-profit organization that is 100% volunteer run. Our prices reflect the current market that covers: field permits, team photos, medals, field equipment, coach equipment, referee equipment, volunteer training, insurance, and more.

Note: Uniforms are not included with registration and will need to be ordered separately through the link provided before the season begins.

SCHOLARSHIPS

There are 15 scholarships available. They are available on a first-come first-served basis for eligible families. Click here for the Google Form. Scholarships do not cover the cost of the uniform.

DISCOUNTS

We want to encourage our AYSO families to register early with our $25 Early Bird Discount (ends December 31st 2023) so that we are able to plan a successful upcoming season. Discounts automatically apply at checkout, if applicable.

We love our AYSO Region 1631 community and want it to keep growing. For returning players we offer a $25 Returning Players discount. Discounts automatically apply at checkout, if applicable.

We also know that families look forward to having a sibling discount. We offer a $10 per Sibling Discount. Discounts automatically apply at checkout, if applicable.

WAITLIST

If there are no available spots, why join the waitlist?

Joining the waitlist is free. If spots become available in your division, you will be notified via email. Downtown San Jose AYSO is growing and being on our waitlist helps us plan for the coming seasons.

How do I move to the front of the waitlist?

It’s easy - have an adult volunteer as a Head Coach. It's easy to coach, you need no experience. AYSO has developed special training to help volunteers who may have little or no soccer experience quickly gain the age-appropriate knowledge and skills they need to become outstanding coaches. Plus you’ll have great support from our Head Coach Administrator during the season.
