Area 2J suggests the following scoring rules for the regular season.

6 points for a Win
3 points for a Tie
0 points for a Loss
1 additional point per goal (subject to a maximum of 3 points)
8 points for a forfeit (2 - 0 score)

E.g 
Team A vs Team B

Team A wins the game 4 - 1

Team A gets 9 points (6 points for a win and 3 points for each goal scored - with a maximum of 3 goals).
Team B gets 1 point (0 points for a loss and 1 point for the goal scored)
